Playback Excluder v1.0.1

Home The Plug-ins Plug-in Releases Plug-in Pack News / Updates Other Projects Contact / Donations

This aims to replicate Winamp3's exclude file from playback feature by adding a 'Alt+X shortcut and menu item to the playlist editor. If an item is already excluded then using the keyboard / menu action again will make it playable.

Additionally, the plug-in also provides an 'Excluded Files' window (see screenshot below) which is accessible via the main right-click menu and the views menu in supporting modern skins or by 'Alt + P'. This allows you to remove specific (or all) items from the exclusion list. As well, you can drag and drop items from other parts of Winamp and Windows to be added to the exclusion list (only items which Winamp says it supports will be added).

The exclusion list as of v1 is stored in exclude.m3u8 in your settings folder (where winamp.ini can be found) which makes it easier to backup or edit externally if you would like to. Older versions of the plug-in used an ini file which is imported on first run of this newer version of the plug-in.
